looking for info from google alert about guy with CF who

There was a google alert within the last 3 weeks of a guy with CF who thought he would die young from CF and so he smoked and drank, and trashed his life.

He finally realized that the CF medical options are so much more hope-filled he ended up turning his life around. Does anyone have that article they can forward to me?

Newsweek might of talked to him a few years back. They actually talk to several CFers in this piece but one of them sounds like the guy you described.
