In March 2003 I got into some toruble with the law... I'm not an awful guy just your average 20 year old college student
Anway... As part of my punishment I have to do 100 hours community service. I started out at the YMCA but I don't get too motivated wiping down excersize machines for the elderly and muscleheads. My twin brother, Bobbo, has cysitc fibrosis. I figure if I'm gonna do something I want to do something I care about and is worth my while. My name is Tom (my friends and family call me Tombo ... you can too). I live in Dunmore, PA. that's located around Scranton. If anyone knows of anyplace where I can do something to help Cystic Fibrosis out for free I would be extremely happy to help. How can your twin have CF and you don't. Twins come from the same sperm and egg and the egg splits right? You should have got the same mutated genes your brother has.

Somebody please correct me if I am wrong.

I am a twin too and we both have CF.

There are two different kinds of twins. One is where the egg is fertilized and splits, that causes identical twins. The other kind is two different eggs are fertilized at the same time, causing fraternal twins, which don't have indentical genes.

You may check w/ your local CF Clinic to see if they know of any needs. Maybe there are single, CF persons that may need their walks/drive ways shoveled or snow blown this winter and things like that.
