Low Grade Fever for 4 Months

I had that problem for a year, in fact it will be a year on Thanksgiving, right after I got intubated, I never recovered, always short of breath, low grade fever, exhaustion, short of breath.

My local center did cultures an I tested positive for NTM. (two types) I had several positive cultures for it. I do know a girl who tested positive in her sputum sample but negative in her bronch.. I don't know.

Funny one of the doctors I got input from used the word red herring, I never heard that before he said it.

I would keep giving sputum samples.... I had no idea that that was a standard to do each time you go to the doctor, I give one every time now.. maybe if you keep giving one something will come up. also, have they done blood cultures on you to see if you have an infection elsewhere in your body?
