Low grade fevers....anyone?

These lingering low grade fevers are driving me nuts. Seems when I had a rough day or a stressful day the low 99 fever pops up. Anyone else get these? And do you get them to go away before getting sick enough to go to the hospital?

Well a fever is the bodies way of helping it fight infection. If I was you and noticed that I was running a fever, I would get some fluids and go hop in bed to sleep it off. Sounds like your body is trying to warm you that you are pushing it. If it gets above 103 I would take some tylenol - if it says over 103 for more than 3 days I would head to the doc -it means you have something bacterial going on not viral.

Yes, I run a low-grade fever regularly. Lately, when I've had a sudden run of good health, I haven't had it much, but often it's been around for months at a time.

I know that's not much help to you. I've just reached the point of ignoring it unless it goes higher than usual.
