Yes, I get those when I am sick or have an exacerbation. I always make sure to sleep, sleep, sleep and increase my albuterol and chest clearance. Usually that's enough, although sometimes (oral) antibiotics are needed.

I get them almost every day. I only take some Tylenol if it goes to 100. or above OR if i start getting the chills and feeling crappy along with it. Since i am on maintenance antitbiotics all the time you would think that should take care of that, but nope i still get them all the time.

ALWAYS!

I have low grade fevers off and on often. If I'm having a crappy day or didn't sleep well or something, I have a 99.X temp. Ibuprofen or tylenol helps and then the next day or so, I'll feel better. I think it has to do with the type of bacteria I culture. I have two types of MAC in my lungs, both discovered when I was in the hospital with crazy high fevers. I'm on antibiotics to get rid of the MAC but it takes so long to get rid of, I wouldn't be surprised to find that my low grade fevers are a result of the MAC trying to fight back. I also have MRSA, I wouldn't be surprised to find that that's the cause of my periodically low grade fevers either. Hope you feel better. Tylenol and a nap helps me, as does an extra vest session/aerosol treatment.

My daughter, Kayla, suffers from fevers frequently. She will have them for weeks, then they go away. She hadn't had any since the end of May, but started again a few days ago. Tylenol doesn't always help bring them down. They tend to come during the evenings more than during the day. And they normally go away as mysteriously as they come. No other symptoms for the most part, just fevers (anywhere from 99.something to 102-103.)and chills...

I just think her body is trying to keep the bacteria at bay that may be trying to flare up. But her CF dr. says that if they continue without other symptoms such as a cough, he may send her to an infectious disease dr who specializes in rheumotoid disorders? Not sure what to think...
