When I picked him up yesterday he looked wiped, kinda owly. His temp was 98.8 without any meds, but I did give him some ibuprofen and he seemed to perk up. Ate a good supper. I'd hoped to get him to bed at a reasonable time, but grandma was spoiling him and kept him awake. So this morning when I went to get him for his beatment, he was feeling a little warm -- temp was 99.
I gave him some ibuprofen and his temp was normal. But we shipped him off to his other grandparents to REST this morning and then DH is taking him home for the rest of the afternoon. DS was VERY upset 'cuz it's HIS special day on the calendar at preschool, but the director switched it to tomorrow. So hopefully a day of resting will recharge his batteries.
He doesn't seem to have any stomach upset, no pain, no cough. Just a little bit of a stuffy/runny nose with clear drainage, seems tired and the low grade fever.
Figure we'll see how he is later this afternoon or if he gets any other symptoms -- cough, etc. Frustrating 'cuz I'm just not sure if or what we should do. It's been awhile since he's run a fever or been under the weather. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">
