lower birthweight in cf babies?

Answer to question "How many of you had your CF babies early?"

All my kids, CF or not, were right on time.

1st baby was 3 days past due date. I gained around 35 pounds with her. Was in labor for 36 hours.

2nd baby (my CFer) was 4 days before due date. Only gained about 20 pounds with her. Was in labor 16 hours.

3rd baby was 3 days after due date. Gained about 40 pounds with him (still carrying it 11 years later....lol). I was in labor for 8 hours.

My eldest son w/o cf was born on his exact due date, I was in labour for 7hours and he was 7lb 3 oz. I actually lost alot of weight while pregnant with him. My twins with cf were a month early and I was in labour 24 hours, gained 73lbs, and they were 4lbs11oz and 4lbs 10oz.

just to add to the confusion:

Both my babies came exactly 2 1/2 weeks early and were within a few ounces of each other at 6lb 5 oz for Julia no/cf and 6lbs 8 oz Ben w/ CF

Then you have to assume different scales and all that so I guess there's no way to know for sure.

Both of my CF girls were two weeks late and weighed 8 lbs 12 oz and the other 8 lbs 9 0z. Deb<img src="i/expressions/heart.gif" border="0">

DS was born 2-3 weeks early. Thank goodness he did because he had meconium illeus and needed surgery to repair the bowel obstruction.
