SINCE I MOVED TO ORLANDO I HAVE LEARNED HOW LUCKY I AM TO STILL BE ALIVE. I HAVE HAD A FEW DOCTORS TELL ME THAT I AM LUCKY TO BE HERE SINCE PREVIOUS DOCTORS HAVE TAKEN A LESS ACTIVE APPROACH TO MY CARE. TODAY I WENT TO SEE I GI SPECIALIST BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN HAVING SEVERE PAIN WHERE MY FEEDING TUBE IS AND ITS BEEN INFECTED ON AND OFF FOR A WHILE NOW. I TOLD THE DOCTOR THAT MY FEEDING TUBE HAS NOT BEEN CHANGED FOR 10 YEARS...HE COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. SO NOW I HAVE TO HAVE SURGERY ON FRIDAY TO HAVE THE OLD ONE TAKEN OUT AND A NEW ONE PUT BACK IN. HE WAS SHOCKED THAT THERE HASNT BEEN MORE PROBLEMS AND PREVIOUS DOCTORS HAVE NOT ADDRESSED THE INFECTION PROBLEM..HOPEFULLY THIS WILL BE A EASY AND FAST FIX
