LUNG INFLAMMATION

Always mentioning this since some docs overlook it but jsut make sure htey have drawn an IGE level to check for ABPA.

Also, if you are not feeling up to snuff and your PFT's did not bounce back then could it be seasonal allergies? Have you gotten your allergies tested?

I would not accept a 'just deal with it', its normal for CF response and sometimes a burst of prednisone is just what is needed as long as it is not covering up real problem--this is just my opinion.

hope you feel better soon.

Becca I can not remember if you are diabetic as well or not. If you are maybe just keep an extra close eye on your sugars. I know when I was sick my blood sugars would go up and the higher my sugars were the more inflammed and tight I would feel. I talked to my endocrinologist about it and he said that high sugars can actually lead to inflammation for us.

Just a thought if you are indeed diabetic and seeing as how I know it affected me that way too. Not saying it is the case but an idea - again if you're a diabetic.
