MAC and Tree in Bud?

So I was told I definitely have tree in bud, and it leads them to believe I have MAC and we’ll probably know tomorrow if I do. Can someone tell me about MAC? I really haven’t heard much about it before and everything I’m finding on the internet is scary. Like have you ever had it? Were you able to get rid of it? How much IVs did you have to do?

I have tree in bud and only some now-distant and then intermittant NTM cultures. My impression is that sometimes the infection can be indolent, and other times it wrecks your weight energy and pfts.
