We, my husband and I are so happy, but so scared. We moved Maddy out today...., just so I'm filling you in Maddy is 21 and has been out of the house for about 3 months at the dorms, about 1.5 years ago, but had to come home due to illness.
All of the eqipment and meds and of course the normal things young adults need to move out were moved out of our house... what will I do without hearing the vest and nebs all the time??
She moved in with a friend that she has known since kindergargen.... I was so emotional, that I think I was a little hard to deal with. The parents of her roomy were there to help their daughter and it all went well. They've known us and Maddy's situation for years... I know they're a little worried too... but they know that she needs to do this, they know that their daughter, Vanessa has participated in Maddy's dreams forever.They both just want to experience life..... I hope life is good to her for a while.
We signed a lease for a year and will help support her, but she is actually working 2-3 days aweek and takeing 2 classes.....W E H O P E I T G O E S WE L L......
Just hope I'm not the only mon feeling soooo worried about loosing some contoll with her needs.
