Major disaster in the Northeast, USA

If it is still in the refrigerator, maybe the temperature swing at night will keep it cool enough. Inside the house the temperature will not fluctuate quite as much as out and inside the refrigerator even less. I would think as long as it gets cold at night and lowers the temperature again and it doesn't stay 50 degrees, you will probably be ok. I would use the milk in the fridge as a judge, if the milk went bad, everything is possibly bad but if the milk is good, it didn't ever get very warm in the refrigerator. It just doesn't take much to ruin milk

You left it in snow.?...tobi should be fine.....tobi can stay 28 days at room temp...did you leave it in a cooler outside?
i dont think it can freeze then unfreeze it has to be a fairly constant temp....

hope everyone can return home soon....man that came out of nowhere...!!!

It was terrible in my neck of the woods too...I live near the tri-state region in mid NY. We got 13+ inches of snow, my aunt who lives 2 miles from me got over 20! I live near many trees, it was raining limbs...my whole yard was peppered with limbs of various sizes, some came very close to hitting my car. Thankfully I did not lose power, I am in the minority however. 100% of NW CT lost power, many won't get it back for a week. I have been cooking up hot meals and offering hot showers to those who need it. My mom is camping out with me until she gets her power back....I feel blessed that I never lost power because I am on O2 and am Vent dependent, God surely was looking out for me! I pray that all of you who are still without power regain it soon, I know that the electric companies have been working around the clock in my area.

Prayers to all,

Please keep Harriet --- HMW in your thoughts. They have no power and her little girl is sick -- they're able to do treatments at a relatives home using a generator, but are unable to follow their usual sick plan of increased vesting and nebs. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

Wow!
When I read this stuff I'm grateful to live in the Great Southwest!
I used to have to put up with this crap when trucking cross-country.
Y'all remember the winter of '96? I was snowed in at our terminal in York, PA. for over a week.
Our prayers are with you all and remember, this too shall pass!
It only hurts for a little while...
