Make a Wish Foundation-What would you wish for?

i got hooked up on make a wish from one of my nurses i think i was 18 when i got mine though... cant remember, but anyways i got a top of the line computer with a couple programs and games and they hooked me up with a computer desk and chair and lamp. total price for ir all came out to like $3,700.if you have CF and are under 18 do it! thers no reason why you shouldnt cuz we all have something we need to take out mind of things, p.s. i found that computer games are a good way to pass the itme while doing meds <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> and actualy got me takeing them more often
My oldest daughter made her wish last year. She was 15 then. (she just turned 17) Her wish? Was to attend a Rolling Stones concert in Arizona. We live in Nebraska. She had the time of her life. What a wonderful experience. To be honest we all had a great time. And since we used to live there she was also able to catch up with an old friend who's mom let her skip a day of school to spend time with my daughter. Make a Wish is such a wonderful foundation. They told us you need to make your wish by age 18. Liza

I found out about Make-a-Wish from my social worker. Three years ago, Make-a-Wish sent my family and I to Ireland. It was great! They even gave me spending money! ~ Mary

I am going to be 22 in 2 weeks aqnd when I was 13 my MAKE A WISH came true. Althought 2 weeks felt like forever cuz I was hearing my mom wanting to go to Disney World and my father to Hawaii, I decided to do what every little girl does best (and woman ofcourse) that was to SHOP!!!! I got to take my mom, my cousin and my aunt, we took a limo to the local mall (huge mall by the way) a tour behind the scenes in all the stores, not only did every store allow me any 1 free item, I also got almost $3,000 to spend cash and Glamour shots done!Looking back on it now I wish I had made that make a wish decision when I was a little older so i wouldnt of made it so foolishly, there are alot of places I would of liked to have gone, but i will never forget the experience that is for sure and god bless all the people tha make it happen!If anyone has questions about Cf Ive been living with it my whole life and would love to answer.PJzWife4Lyfe@aol.com

when i went with make a wish i thought it was very cool we went to florida to go in the theam park's we went in sea world disny world and my best part of it was being able to swim with dolphins it was the best thing that has happend to me in my life so far and iam only 11 years old almost 12
Well now, thats something I hadnt even thought of. Make-a-wish.Funny since my sister has been a <b>WishGranter</b> for about five years, and now she runs <b>Ability Magazine</b> as well. A girl Ive known for about five months now has CF and she's not doin too well. Her boyfriend died about a month and a half ago, improper drug interaction, and she's been dwelling unhappily on her shattered future. Or potential lack of one.I guess I should talk to my sister.
