Thanks I will look into this for my son.

Also, on this same way of thinking here, most kids are visual learners. Meaning that they respond to a visual result. For example my son's PFTs were terrible when he was young. The respiratory therapist recommended that he use a program next time he came into get his PFTs before he saw the doc. It was a simple visual element of blowing out candles or blowing down a brick house until every candle or brick was gone.
Guess what? My son's PFTs almost doubled, and I am convinced that it was because of this visual representation of his PFTs. It gives the kids a goal as to what to accomplish and it makes it fun. If your clinic does not offer this, you may suggest that they do. Especially for young kids, even my 15 year old asks for it each time now when we go.
Thank you for this link to this app, I will look into this for my son.

The pediatric clinic I used to go to actually had pft software that was the same as what Allansarmy mentioned. I thought it was awesome and still think it was a great way to get me to push harder to blow out that final candle.

We tried out this new app. The microphone is pretty senstive so moving the flutter around can also simulate blowing and get the volcano to go. BUT it does make her want to actually do the treatment, and that counts for a heck of a lot in my book.
