makes you wonder

Hi Liza

I would have confronted that nurse in a nice way and put her in her place plus I would also talk to the doctor there. That is not acceptable.

I was so stressed out and trying to keep an eye on everything that was going on, I guess I kinda second guessed myself. I asked DH, afterwards -- did she do (not do) what I think she did? Reminded DH that we both need to be soooo vigilant when (if) we go to CF clinic. I already told him I'm packing my own wipes and plan to wipe every thing down. I also have buttons that I pin to our backpack that says "have you washed your hands, and stethescope, too"

That is great. Most doctors are suppose to wash up after each patient before even going into another patients room. Back in 1981 around that time when germs were not a media focus, I once asked my CF doctor "Did you wash your hands" He looked so surprised and kind of hurt that I would not trust him. I did not care but I felt so much better after I asserted myself. I continued down that same path and always felt so good afterward. When people act offended, that to me is a sign of guilt.
