Men with CF who are infertile are either missing their vas deferens or they're blocked with mucus. The situation isn't "black and white," which is why I came here to ask, seeking other experiences from adult males. I've done research as well as asking my doctor about this.

From what you've said, and what others have said, I am led to believe I am infertile. For a while I was questioning it because I was producing ejaculate that seemed normal, just not very much of it. So, I was thinking maybe one of my vas deferens was functional.
I don't want kids anyway.

entropy, Julie is correct in her description of me, although genetically I have CF. I have a double RH117 gene and although I attend a CF clinic yearly, it is only to keep an eye on me, so to speak. The doctors will not dx me as CF as I have absolutely no symptoms ( obvious one is having fathered two kids naturally)now 43 and smoked like a lum for 20 odd years.

Meant to also say that as you can see, anything is possible when it comes to genes. You never know you could be one of the 2% of fertile Cfers

Entropy, it IS that black and white. There are NO cases of men with CF who have a vas deferens blocked with Mucus, I'm afraid you've been misinformed. Believe me, I spent over 6+ years researching the topic and have spoken to a number of CF and infertility specialists, who have dealt specifically with CF men over the last decade or so.

However, there is no way to tell if you are one of those infertile males, simply by looking at the amount, texture, consistency and "color" of your ejaculate. Every man differs, even those who do not have an infertility factor vary greatly in the appearance and amount of ejaculate. A diagnosis of such would require a semen analysis, and also an analysis of your testicles where the doctor would feel for the vas deferens. It can also be diagnosed by ultrasound, but that is usually a much more expensive and rarely used method.

I would say, Go have a Sperm Count .

I did at 18 and found that my count was a little above
average.

It is embarrassing for sure. But You will know for sure.
