Our daughter Rachel is 18 months old. She has tested positive for allergies to: wheat, barley, corn, oats, milk, eggs, beef, and pork (slightly -we avoid eating pork due to enzymes having a pork base and trying to have as little exposure as possible). She is doing okay on weight. We have added periactin daily which has helped. I am doing okay at cooking for her with our other foods, however, it is tough to get high calorie foods. Her favorite foods are fruits and vegetables, which are great for health, but not for weight gain. If anyone has any ideas, recipies, or wisdom to impart we would be very happy to listen. Rachel has also had a lot of digestive issues (she was born with Meconium Illius) but I think her digestive issues are due in part to her crazy diet. She eats a lot of rice products, and avocados which are constipating and meat (turkey, chicken, lamb, and deer) soaked in olive oil. We need some help if anyone has any ides. Thank you.
