Good info to know, thanks! They also have him on D5W which has sugar in it. He pointed that out to the nurses last night and they were like, "oh, maybe there is a correlation"- no s**t sherlock

He's there again tonight <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> He's really bummed, I feel so bad he's stuck there. We will go and see him again tonight.

Julie is he being treated by an actual CF Doctor??

Yes with CF & Diabetes (infection induced, steroid induced or CF induced) they normally stay away from glucose & stick with saline for any dilution.....

Sherlock? I think not LOL!

Hey Julie, just wanted to let you know you all are in our prayers! I remember my first admit my senior yr of HS. I felt so defeated. The first time is emotional. (heck i still get misty before I go in now!) But if he's made it this long w/out being in, thats awesome!! Hang in there, if there already talking about letting him go home thats outstanding! The normal CF tune-ups are 2 weeks long!

HUGS, HUGS, and more HUGS! Hope Mark feels better soon!!
