How many of you wear protective masks? Which are best? How often do you wear them? How do you get one and how often do you replace them?

I have never worn a mask

Well I have the first 2-3 weeks post transplant when I was still in the hospital and with visiting someone I knew had something with him/her I really don't want.

But otherwise I don't wear one.

I just got one in July. I wear it working in the garden or when hubby mows the lawn and I am working outside as well. I am planning to wear it this fall/winter when I go to places with lots of people who could be sick-- grocery stores , very busy department stores and to church when the cold and flu season is very high. I wear it also when I clean where their could be lots of dust.

We had some disposable ones we were given when DS left the NICU, Just in case DH or I got sick. I think I've used one twice, though usuually kept my distance and washed hands.
