I got one from "Breathe Healthy Masks". They are are online. The masks are inexpensive and really cute (different funky patterns). They are fabric and washable. <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.breathehealthy.net/

I have never wore one until I got the transplants and then I had to wear it for three months. I still wear one occasionally and all it is is the ones that they docs wear in the hospital. I am going to meet some CFers in NYC this month and I will be wearing it then too as a "just in case." I will also wear one during the Christmas crowds at the stores this winter.

I never use to wear one. But now I wear one whenever I go to a doctor's office, in the hospital until I get to my room and anytime I leave my room I will wear a mask. I would like to wear one on a plane but I feel too self conscious so I told myself I would only put it on if I was sitting next to someone who was coughing. Otherwise, church, grocery shopping. movies etc I do not wear one. However, if I hear or see someone coughing in church or the movie theatre we will change seats.

I just got some from the local drugstore. Nothing fancy or special, they are blue.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention in mine that I wore one on the plane to WA in June and then on the way home. I kind of have to having had the transplants. I kind of felt self conscious too but I knew that I had to do it to stay healthy. We had one little girl ask why I was wearing it and Nate told her is was so I didn't get sick if there was someone who was sick on the plane and then the mother became interested too. He told her that I have CF and had double lung and liver transplants last year and she was amazed! The things that people learn when they actually ask questions! It's nice that she asked and didn't stare though.
