So I need help, I have TOOO many meds which include pills, inhales, feeding tube stuff, diabetic stuff. I feel like I am drowning in the amount of stuff I have to keep track of. On top of that I have to use 3 diff pharmacies, so it makes it complicated.

Soo I thought maybe we could share ways and things we do to keep our things organized and meds "in stock".

I keep my hardly ever used medication in one of my kitchen cupboards-- with the rest of the families medications. I keep my extra diabetic supplies in my bedroom on a bookcase-- with my extra enzymes. My diabetic testing supplies are near my purse so that I can grab them if we go out for a while. I keep my daily meds (iron, BC pills, enzymes and such) on my kitchen table so that I remember to take them. I keep my inhaled meds near my vest and compressor.

I kinda have things spread out in 3 different locations but those locations make the most sense to me. I also try to keep enzymes and a few ADEK in my purse just in case we decide to eat out while running errands.

I have an excel spreadsheet of all my meds organized by which pharmacy I get them at. I have all prescription #'s, pharmacy phone #'s and # of refills in the spreadsheet so when I see I am running low on something I have all info in one place. I recently started using pharmacy websites to do refills which makes things easier in my opinion (CF Pharmacy has one too)...all Rx's are listed with quantities and dates and you can just reorder online and then pick up later or have shipped.

I use two pill boxes...one weekly mostly for vitamins and one monthly just for zithromax (I take it every other day rather than MWF so harder to keep track.) All current meds I am taking are in one cabinet, and all "back stock" in another place. Once I start using the last bottle/box of any med I reorder at that time so I don't forget.

My Mac and iPhone and Gmail email account pop up reminders I have programmed in the calendar when I need to refill.

Pretty simple way of doing it. Since I'm always on my computer doing meds, my phone is with me all the time, and I'm always checking email, I never forget. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
