When shaken it should be a light beige color. Are you keeping it in a cool place out of dirct light. Not in a bathroom. I would take the drug back and ask them to refill it. IT is your right and they can make a mistake.
Did this guy mix it or did someone new mix it. I have taken my daughters drugs back before. Who cares if the guy gets pissed. This is your child and not his. I would call the company that makes it and ask them. After all they don't want a bad product on the market.

Heh Heather...did they maybe flavor one of the bottles but not the other? 15 ml is a lot. How much does she weigh? Zoe weighs 44 and the last time she was on Bactrim (it is her drug of choice from her docs)she took 10 ml.
We had a mistake with one of Zoe's meds before...go with your gut instinct.

Take care,

Do you know if they mixed it all together and then poured it in separate containers or if they were 2 different powders? If it was mixed all together I would guess they poured it off in unequal portions of med to water. If they were mixed separately, there is something wrong with one of them. Regardless, I would request new meds or just get the powder and mix it yourself!

Simply put, you can and should make the pharmacy replace the full prescription.

Firmly state you are concerned as the 2 bottles are not the same. They have no choice but to fill again if there is a reason to believe it was filled in error. Giving too much or too little could be dangerous so I wouldn't let the pharmacist dictate.
