Medicaid / VEST

I am hopefully about to get medicaid in the state of Georgia. Will Medicaid pay for the Vest system? I had the vest, tubes, and bag donated to me, but there is no compressor. My doctor really wants me to get one, but I don't have thousands of dollars sitting around nor do I have a way to get that much money. Any advice is greatly appreciated <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Medicaid in PA has paid for two Vests for me.

Medicaid in Ohio will pay for 1 vest in a person's lifetime. So, I got a vest for free a long time ago, then got a free upgrade through the company itself (by sending back my old one). I bet you'll be able to get at least one, even if you can't get a newer version later on if they improve it. My medicaid is weird about nebulizers that way. Good luck!

Thanks Frank and Erin. I will be happy to just get one vest at this point. It's so much harder to do CPT as an adult. It was much easier when I still lived with my parents lol.
