We use the baxa oral syringes. I think I posted a link a couple years ago about where I found them. I've since ordered from other places. I DO reuse them.

When DS was a baby I used 1 ml for his adeks, otherwise I had 5 and 10 ml ones. I had to buy some amber ones because before switching to pills seemed like every medication was pink. I prepare(d) all his medications the night before and kept them in syringes in a baggy in the fridge.

Another handy thing is to get caps for the medications. Baxa makes them and I put them inside the medicine bottles and I can withdraw the correct amount of medication without having to use a medicine cup and wasting a bunch of it. The company that I used actually sent me a sample kit, so I could try out which caps worked with which bottles..

<i>Found my original link from 2007 I was able to score some amber colored syringes from a relative who runs a pharmacy a couple hours from where we live. Also, I got an email from Baxa.com with info on how to order from them, plus she gave me a link for a company who sells oral syringes in smaller lots

I didn't need a script to order oral syringes or the caps for meds and I've ordered from several different companies.
