Hello, can someone tell me how a CF patient qualifies for Medicare/Medicaid? I have >90% FEV1 and want to become a Personal Trainer however there are no benefits. What does medicare cover if I become self employed?

Adam,

I was eligible for Medicare after being disabled (collecting SSDI) for 24 months. That's all I know about it. Maybe you have to be disabled to be on Medicare? Sorry, I can't help more.
