I do know about PI, but sometimes that won't list supplements that are possible interactions, or two vague categories of things - like iron and antacids. (Thanks Marjolein)
I have to admit, I have an ulterior motive here.
I'm looking to write a educational column about how to properly take common CF meds for my clinic's newsletter, so I was looking for help here (and figuring we can help eachother at the same time). I don't think there are many people that are quite as proactive as some of us, and they don't get too worried about looking up stuff online, or talking to the pharmacist. Actually I would be happy if the proposed audience I am writing this for is compliant at all, let alone taking meds x, y and z at the proper times and under the proper conditions. I thought that by compiling a sort of easy 'cheat sheet' list it would help them debunk the complexity of taking a lot of stuff, and remind them things their pharmacist told them that perhaps they forgot. I know some people get flustered and say "Ahhh this is too complicated" and just give up altogether.
As for not trusting others, well I plan to look up things in my finished list to doublecheck them, and it's getting read over by my doctor and nurses. If I can't trust them, I'm probably screwed. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> And as for information on this site, I take it all with a grain of salt. If something is blatantly false, there are usually one (or more) people very *vocally* saying so, so I don't worry about that too much.
