about Brian Weiss M.D.
"As a traditional psychotherapist, Dr. Brian Weiss was astonished and skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas that seemed to hold the key to her recurring nightmares and anxiety attacks. His skepticism was eroded, however, when she began to channel messages from "the space between lives," which contained remarkable revelations about Dr. Weiss's family and his dead son. Using past-life therapy, he was able to cure the patient and embark on a new, more meaningful phase of his own career.

A graduate of Columbia University and Yale Medical School, Brian L. Weiss M.D. is Chairman Emeritus of Psychiatry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami."

I am reading one of his books. Fascinating!

Five years after my First transplant, I recalled what happened to my Donor and also guessed his Birthday. I freaked out the women from the organ procurement office where they hold all personal information about recipients and donors. They told me if I meet the family not to say what I know.

I did not believe the lady at first that I guessed the info about my donor so I called a year later and spoke with another women and she confirmed that I was correct.

I was walking with my husband one day and out of the blue, I just said I think my Donor Birthday was today. That is when I called the OPO a few days later.

She asked me If I was told by the hospital what happened to the donor after my surgery. I said they told me this is what happened but i said (cannot give details), I do not believe that was true and told her what I thought was true.

I have read the books mentioned in this article.

"Another amazing story, reported by Pearsall, is that of an eight-year-old girl who received the heart of a ten-year-old girl who had been murdered. After the transplant, the recipient had horrifying nightmares of a man murdering her donor. The dreams were so traumatic that psychiatric help was sought. The girl's images were so specific that the psychiatrist and the mother notified the police. According to the psychiatrist, ". . .using the description from the little girl, they found the murderer. He was easily convicted with the evidence the patient provided. The time, weapon, place, clothes he wore, what the little girl he killed had said to him . . . everything the little heart transplant recipient had reported was completely accurate."
