Mid-Cycle Spotting

My spotting (brown- sorry if TMI) is always during the luteal phase and about a day or two post ovulation (my guess since that is how it worked this month and I haven't tracked BBT in the past). The spotting is light and lasts for about a day or two w/ most of it just showing in early am and then going away.

While we have been "TTC" for 5-6 months, this was really the first month I tracked BBT and know that we had sex during my OV window. Also since this is the first time I've tracked BBT, I am not really sure what is typical (if this was or not) for me. The first few months we just went on w/ our daily lives not really paying attention to my possible OV schedule and our 'romping' schedule. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

On a related note, ovulation post the CD20 is not typical, but that is based on the average for women. There are women who have conceived w/ later ovulation (after CD20), and also w/ short luteal phases (<10 days). These two situations are just not ideal.

Thanks for the responses! I really appreciate it. I did search yesterday after I posted and learned a little more, but it is always, really nice to hear from others.
