Hey! I too get migraines especially when I am sick and getting i.v.s. I get the visual aura (I think that is what you are referring to when you say your vision is static), numbness in my arms, face, or tongue, inability to make any sense or understand what others are saying, nauseousness, etc. My doctors finally prescribed relpax and it does help with the nauseousness and makes the migraine not as bad, but I still go around feeling like there is knife in the side of my head for about two days. Coughing makes it extremely painful. I once told the doctor that I thought having migraines all the time was worse then having CF <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">. Do you take anything for your migraines?

I get the auras, numbness-- it travels all over my body during the worst of a my migraines, nauseousness, dizziness, and every sound seem 1000X's worse than it really is.

Coughing during and after a migraine is horrible-- sometimes I think my head is going to explode.

I don't take anything for it... I do try to take two Tylenol as soon as I get the vision fuzziness. It "sometimes" shortens the duration and intensity of the migraine.

Take 2 Excedrine migraine as soon as the aura starts and the pain is much less. It literally numbs your brain. But I do get the stabbing throb everytime I cough and noises and lights are horrible during the migraine even with excedrine.
