Sorry you are having a terrible time in the hospital. I would be having a BF (b#$ch fit) with the nurses and RTs. I would put in a call to my CF doctor (or who ever he left in charge at this hospital) and/or be buzzing the nurses and RTs every 15 mins until I got my treatments and meds. I had one nurse that took my enzymes away from my bedside because "she knew what was best", even though my CF dr said it was okay. I made that woman have a very long 12 hr shift (eat a cookie, call for an enzyme...repeat every 15-20 mintues. Stuff like that.). I never had her again after that....wonder why? lol.
I know you are moving into your house soon. Maybe you can look at stuff online for your house. You can look up themes for your bathrooms or kitchen, furniture, art work, curtains (that was so hard for DH and I...to find curtains we liked at a reasonable price), lamps, ceiling fans (if you are gonna have them), TVs...stuff like that to past the time. When you get looking around, time can fly by. Also, you could get your floor plan and play around with where you might want your furniture placed in all your rooms. Make a list of things you might need in different parts of the house, like the kitchen (dishes, pots, pasta spoon, butter tray...stuff like that). There is a lot of stuff to think about, I am learning that myself.
As for the chat, start a private topic and invite some ppl that are online the same time as you are....have a forms type chat.
Hopefully things will start going smoother for you in the hospital. I hope you start feeling better soon!!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
