Mobilaire - I am so ticked! I can't get anyone to sell me a filter replacement

Has anyone else had this problem? I have gone back to allegro medical (where I got it). They don't have it and can't seem to get it. Invacare doesn't sell directly. They gave me contact info of a bunch of vendors they work with, but they don't carry it either. One told me Invacare said it was discontinued. What? We paid $270 for this thing in february because it delivered medication fast so my daughter wouldn't have to sit on treatment all day. Now, things are slow because the filter is full. After 2 weeks of working on this I am super cranky. Anyone have another option for a compressor. Mental note....get all accessories to last the lifetime of the product that needs them.

This is the white filter, the black foam filter can be rinsed and then air dried. Out RT told us to rinse out the black filter once a month.

As far as I know, only the black filter can be washed but the white filter should remain dry. And try to check Preferred Health Choice, they have a lot of medical devices and accessories, maybe they can help you with it.

I just ordered neb supplies at justnebulizers.com. They have the Mobilaire filters $17 a piece. They got delivered quickly... Hope that helps!

Thanks! I just saw this. After 2 weeks of the runaround, I called invacare directly and told them they needed to find a supplier for me or I was going to post on the boards A very nice customer service woman kept me on the phone and found one!! They should be here in a few days.
