more IV questions

i've had my IV in for just a day and already i'm having trouble. my whole arm is cramping and the end of my fingers are tingling. it hurts to flush it and infuse the meds. is this normal. it's really tender feeling.

I went through this the last time i had a picc line in. It turned out that the line was pushing on a nerve everytime i moved my arm a certain way, thus made my fingers tingle and made my arm and shoulder hurt. This might be your problem if you have a picc in...
