Yeah!

Welcome to the world!

I was just coming to 'check' on you and what news <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">. Sorry Dustin missed birth, I think you will have to chuck it up to any other part of the birth not going 'quiet' right--wow that must have been some birth! I bet you are both over the moon!

Cant wait to hear details and see pics, take care, rest up.

Great news! Congratulations!! Can't wait to see pictures and hear the birth story. Use that Hotsling sooner than later...if she's like mine you won't be wanting to carry her for long. At 3 months my son is 16 lbs.

Hotslings are great - in fact I think they're so great I sell around 100 a month on eBay. Lauren do you have one? I still use mine w/ Logan occasionally even though he's 2.5 and around 26 or 27 lbs (haven't weighed him in a really long time). I can't carry him for a long time w/ my sling since he weighs so much but its great for short trips to the store or going through an airport or getting on and off a train. They still like to be carried, even at age 2. For toddlers or really heavy older babies I would use a 2 shouldered sling/wrap/carrier. I have an Ergo that I LOVE but only for long term carrying (like a hike) since it involves more steps than simply putting on the pouch and dropping baby in.. For my next baby I'll still use a hotsling as my primary sling probably through at least 1.5 years depending on how fast s/he grows.
