I haven't done them in quite a while (I had a baby in December and just haven't made time to do them), but they are excellent. I really like Jillian Michaels'Yoga Meltdown and her 30 Day Shred DVDs - they are about $9.99 each. All you really need is a yoga mat or towel and some hand weights (3-5lbs). I really like the fact that the workouts on 30 Day Shred are only 20 minutes long, and Jillian Michaels switches it up so you're only doing each activity for a couple of minutes....I figure I can do anything if I know it will end in a minute or two! The Yoga Meltdown is not traditional yoga where you chant and sit...it makes you sweat and really tones your body since you're usign your own body weight! BothDVDs arenice for CFersbecause you can hit pause ifyou need a break andJillianhas someone doing themodified versions of the exercises at the same time she's doing the regular version, so you can follow that person if you need to (or the advanced person if you're up for it). Just thought I'd share! </end quote>
I love the 30 Day Shred! It's my favorite workout video. There are three levels, and each one gets harder.

I've been an adrenaline junkie since jumping off my parents roof onto the trampoline early on. Motocross, Mtn. Biking, Whitewater Kayaking, Skydiving. I struggle with staying motivated when I'm sick or not able to participate in the sports that I love. I've found that tracking my progress (Or lack of progress) makes a huge difference in my drive to get moving. I also tend to bounce back more quickly if I've got an established baseline that I'm trying to get back to. To that end, I've got my own spirometer and use tracking apps for my exercise (strava.com). I'm consistently surprised by how directly my FEV1 is impacted by my daily regimen. (And how much it suffers when I screw up)

I will say this, Weight lifting = Lung function, Running, Swimming.. ect = Cardio Vascular support. Know the difference and how each severly affects your quality of life.

Incomudrox! You are an inspiration! I use running as a form of airway clearance. So I like to set running goals for myself. I like to sign up for 5Ks, 10Ks, and I just did a half marathon. My goal is to try and push myself and try to beat my previous time.
