a) I just moved today
b) I hate moving
c) get lots of help.
d) (optional) don't move when it's cold/snowing outside.

Other than that moving out for your first time = good.
Keep track of your finances, don't miss bill payments, keep up a good credit score, don't have more than one credit card (i.e. don't go into debt), learn to cook edible foods (I've done that rather successfully), do treatments, etc.

You know, I don't think I like being an adult after all. :/

For me as a teenager when I was thinking in terms of long term goals..college did not make sense for me personally. For one thing, I didn't like school. I was a good student but I hated it and didn't want to spend more years of my life in school than absolutely necessary.</end quote></div>

My sentiments exactly! And I was even considered a mild case.
Plus, I always wanted to be a secretary (don't ask why-lol), so I didn't think that college really was necessary for my 'profession'.

For the original poster, I moved out right out of high school, when I was 17. I had the perfect set-up....$100 a month rent with 3 room mates in a big old house, so it worked out well. That's probably the <i>only</i> time in my life that I had extra money, but it was fun while it lasted!
