Moving to Phoenix, how are the CF Doctors there?

I have heard good things about the CF clinic in Tucson and I even went down there to interview a doctor at the CF Center. They do not have an adult CF clinic but treat all adults at the center at UMC.

I felt good about the interview and the care that I would receive. Did not go look a the hospital rooms


Anyone else know stuff about the UMC in Tucson, CF Center?

The tucson clinic and the hospital are in two different locations...about 2 miles apart. The hospital is nice...the staff is nice...far BETTER than Good Sam (BLECCK!!!). It's actually somewhat clean. Nothing is worse than Paradise Valley hospital (in phoenix)....NEVER...and I mean NEVER...go there for ANYTHING!!!! I made that mistake and so did 3 other people I know.

They are taking you on? I heard that they did not accept adults any more...I am only allowed to go because I was going there before I was 21.

Anyhoo...lotsa luck!

We've ONLY experienced doctors in Phx. First, the new children's hospital is great. Very child friendly. Have had NOTHING but great experiences there. Secondly, most of the Pulmonoligists at PCH are great. Only one I don't and won't see. We leave town for the summer since my 7 year old can't handle the heat....it's REALLY hot here.
