Moving... with endless possibilities?

Well I've been working night shift doing remodel at walmart, and I had PLANNED to save every penny and head out to LA, California later in the summer. I've been trying to get out of the town I'm in for quite a while now, and I was going to transfer out there once I had a comfortable padding of money.
However, it turned out I'm losing my apartment (I've been renting out from my mother, and she "informed" me that she's renting it out to a family) on June 1st... which will not give me enough time to save for California.
How ever, I see no point in finding another apartment here in town since I've been trying to get out of here anyway...

A huge part of me really really wants to just drop everything and pick a COMPLETELY random city in a completely random state, just to get away from everything I know and everything I'm used to, become COMPLETELY dependent on myself for finances, bills, friends, everything, even if it's just for 6 months. I think it would be REALLY fun and really good for me. I've been completely in charge of my health since I was very young, so that's not even an issue. Though I think insurance probably will be if I decide to do this.

I have quite a few options and this is just one of them I'm considering.

So.... any suggestions? I'll be turning 22 the day after I lose my apartment, and would like to live somewhere where there are a lot of people my age to meet... good climate, I like cold and don't like extreme heat, but don't like freezing and I like sun.

I don't know at all, honestly I'm just trying to look at this as an opportunity instead of a sucky happening, any of you ever done something like this? Have any OTHER ideas?

OOOhhhhhh good for you. You have way more guts than I do. Do you still want to go to CA or just pick any random place. Why don't you try to do some research and maybe start with good CF centers in great (aka...warm) places. Then start to look around from there.
I think it's awesome & wish you the best of luck. I wish I could have/would have done that before I got old and got married.
Have a great time w/it!!!

Kelli

I live in OH, shallowwaters is right, skip this state. I'd stay out west or down south!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
