Moving... with endless possibilities?

Tara that's actually a fantastic idea that I never thought of...
One other thing that occurred to me is that there's a town in... I THINK north Carolina where a lot of the filmmaking is moving for tax purposes. It's evidently where Dawsons Creek and such shows have been filmed. It's not fully Hollywood, not as far from home, and I could still check out the film industry. I have some friends who have been considering moving out there. We'll see.

The thought of picking a totally random place keeps coming back to me... I think it would be goo to be completely self-dependant for six months somewhere where it's not too expensive to live.

Or I'm considering just throwing all caution to the wind and moving straight to LA or NY.
*sigh*, I miss being a little kid.

Hello - - Lurker for years and don't post often.
I love San Fran - younger crowd, weather is really my scene, and the outdoors. I did think of the Carolinas as well though, and if you are interested in film/acting LA is obviously a great spot. At any rate, it's great that you are doing this now. I have a nonCF friend who is 35 and did this as well. He left the midwest for CA, learned to surf, took a vaca to Hawaii, lived in CA for about a year and is now living in Boulder. IF you are in the slight bit interested, you should try it. You will regret later in life if you didn't at least try. Good luck - and safe travels (once you make your decision) - - point
