MRSA

I saw another post about spreading Hepatitus by kissing & that got me to thinking...have any of you ever spread MRSA to any of your non CF friends, spouse, boyfriend, family members, etc by them drinking after you, kissing, etc.
I have MRSA and always wonder if my spouse could get it from kissing me, etc. I assume not because he is healthy, but have wondered about it.

You could pass it to non cfers but they would never know as It wouldnt effect them as long as they dont have depressed immune systems or somewhere for it to grow as in large wounds or mucusy lungs. They would just carry it around and it would remain "dormont". This is one of the reasons its so easily picked up in hospital even when precautions are taken - healthcare workers and family members could be carrying it and not even know it.
