Not necessarily. You can have a boil (skin type) and not have it anywhere else. (I believe) No, this can be transferred by touching something that has the bacteria on it, coughing, etc...that's the scary part. Community is supposed to be harder to treat than hospital, but I'm not really sure about how each strain effects the person. Like I mentioned, they put my son on bactrium even though he had no symptoms and now he doesn't even culture it. MRSA is everywhere and you can drive yourself nuts trying to figure it out..I did. Just practice really good hygeine and make sure toys, surfaces, etc. are cleaned with a product that will kill the bacteria. You can go on the CDC website to get a list of cleaning agents.
