Mucinex

so i started taking mucinex because i heard its good for cleaning my lungs and sinusis out.. and this is kind of gross but some weird goopy stuff is coming out of "down there" its like a wierd light brownish white color and theres alot of it.. im wondering if thats normal

that almost sounds like a yeast infection to me...I get that when I go on IV meds and cipro...you may wanna get a check up with your doctor

I agree, it sounds like a yeast infection. I have them constantly from antibiotics, but it's even worse on IV's. There are creams you can use, over the counter or prescription. The best prevention I have found is taking an acidophilus supplement all the time, and doubling it while on IV's. It's a probiotic that helps keep your bacterial balance. I don't know what Mucinex does exactly, but if it kills bacteria, that may be your problem.
