I've got some information about what I and my son wcf do posted on my Health Gazelle website. It's 1am. I really don't feel like hassling with a link. The link is in my signature.

Good luck with this.

I know the sinus infections are common on CFers, but I would like to know what can I do to prevent them from happening again. She wasn't able to sleep when she had the horrible sinus infection.</end quote></div>

Does she do sinus rinses? I dont have sinus problems like this, but from what I have read from others.....daily rinses really help keep things at bay.I dont know how easily it can be done on a child at that age, but there are enough parents & even adults around here who do them to give you some guidance!

We use Entsol nose spray on Ellie after every treatment. I don't know if it qualifies as a sinus rinse exactly, but it does get the gunk out of her nose. We do it after her treatment because that seems to be when everything is loosened more. You can buy it over the counter at the pharmacy (but technically it is behind the counter with the pharmacists and you have to ask for it). It really does seem to help. I think something like Little Noses saline rinse would help to. She actually doesn't mind it at all, and she tries to lick it (eeww) I think she likes the saltwater taste.
