Thanks I have read that post which is quite exciting. I was just wondering if anyone was using it with their kids rather than adults? I'll ask my doc about it and see if he knows much about it?

Thanks again,

We have been using mucolyxir for a little more than a month now. We decided to do this because our dr's took us off of pulmozyme (thought that hypertonic would do more since she did have some hyperinflation going on in her lower lungs). I wasn't comfortable taking her off that with out something that posibly had the same type of outcome. So I suggested it to our dr.'s. He didn't see any harm in trying it.

I think it has helped. She is only 2 so we watch for signs and symptoms. One thing we noticed right away is saliva. She was even so impressed with it she has been seen blowing spit bubbles. What a thrill to see. We realized that we couldn't remember ever seeing her drool. Even when she began cutting teeth.

I don't know anything other than that sign, but for us we will watch and see.

We also just started it a few weeks ago. THere have been several things (allergies, NAET treatments, and a cold) making it a little harder to tell the direct results just yet, but we have noticed less morning congestion (sinus mainly).

It is so weird you mention the spit thing. I will have to try an observe this in our son. He also never drooled when teething but didn't have a dry mouth exactly. Always enough but not like our non-cf daughter by any stretch. Interesting
