absolutely -- double listing is fairly common. but it should be with a hospital in another UNOS region from your original center, otherwise there's not much point. a number of people at my center are cross-listed at Penn, and i know someone cross-listed at a boston hospital and cleveland clinic (which is possible b/c cleveland doesn't require you to move to the area pre-tx). basically you need two centers in different regions that you can still reach within the time limit (normally 6 hours). for boston to cleveland, for example, that would be doable via lifeflight.
