Muscle cramps or twitches

Try eating bananas and coconut water. You can buy coconuts at the store, they take awhile to get open but so good. Its worth a try, seeing as both foods are healthy. I use to get cramps all the time but now im on a very healthy diet and I never get them anymore.

A lack of Potassium is a common cause for muscle cramping, and the best solution is to eat a banana. It works every time for me, without fail.

Someone suggested "elete" on this site a long time ago for electrolyte replenishment. It's got magnesium, sodium, potassium, and chloride. Just a few drops in a liter nalgene is all that's called for. It has no taste unless you overdo it. It works great in anything; juice, coffee, oatmeal, anything you can put drops on/in. I bought some to use when my daughter is exercising and for summertime when we're all generally hotter and sweatier anyway. I found it online somewhere.

My first thought with muscle twitches and pain is magnesium...my blog gives some info on it and there is a link to what type of magnesium is the best

For cramping that is a result of low sodium try eating pickles, avocados,Chunky brand chicken noodle soup, or drinking tomato juice. All are very high in sodium and work great, especially after exercise or periods of exertion where you've lost a lot of salt.
