Muscle milk is probably one of the best tasting shakes out there. It is not like the GNC weight gainer stuff of 10 years ago that was horrible. There are a ton of flavors including Rootbeer float, pina colada, etc. It is good tasting. I have used it for a short time. It is marketed more as a muscle builder and fat burner. So if you are not working out while using it may not be the right thing for you.
Also, I am not sure how much a big deal it really is, but muscle milk contains, glycocyamine. I have read that this can cause your sugars to go out of whack and can also cause cardiovascular disease. I stopped using it and switched to just pure whey protein after reading this on the internet. You will not get the calories/carbs from this, but if you need extra protein this is great. The ON 100% whey is very good as far as whey goes. I like the vanilla ice cream flavor myself. It mixes well in pretty much anything. This does contain other amino acids as well including L-Glutamine, which you may or many not want.
