Sorry to hear this Chris. Do you have to go into hospital, or will you do it at home? If a hospital, let us know. Hope it goes by fast for you.

Don't be too hard on yourself. It sounds like you've worked you butt off. It's just the nature of the beast. Like someone else mentioned, hopefully it will be another 9 years (or more) before you need them again!
My guess is that you'll feel so much better after having the IV's.

I hope you feel better real soon <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> I know it is disappointing to go so long without needing iv's then suddenly needing them. I once went 2 years without neeidng iv's after i first got cepacia, and when i needed them again, i was so mad i kicked my foot thru the bedroom wall. If you are doing the iv's at home, it might make it easier and less upsetting for you than having to go in the hospital.

Hopefully, the IV meds will do the trick.

Are you going in for the full treatment or just a few days then on home IV's?
