My Bailout Plan...

If I<b> had </b>to pick, I would pick the Bush stimulus--at least <i>I knew</i> I was getting some benefit from it, this one, I'm not so sure...

If we went the Bush route, but still spent the trillion that the Obama plan is going to spend, then each American would receive $3,000+; that would have been $9,000+ for our family--sweet!! Talk about immediate stimulus for the economy...

Fred, do company directors in Japan have a cap on their salaries? I was always under this impression.

In the UK the gov' has already bailed out 4 banks to the tune of £200 billion, thats not including any money that they may give or have given to the car industry.
There are 65 million peeps, so say they give the handout to half of us, then its only £650 each.
A tax cut would be much more easy to administer, firstly it only goes to tax payers (we have a huge problem in the UK with immigration just now).
Secondly, it would be easier as indivduals would spend the monthly cut on a monthly basis, so helping the economy over a larger period of time.
