Great story - too bad hubby had to miss it. My mom was like that too. I am glad you added in about not coughing during pushing - I think so many Cf moms-to-be(and docs) are confused about this. If there is going to be any coughing it is going ot be during the contractions when you lose control of your breathing because of the pain!
