My Bones Hurt!

Just wondering does anyone elses bones hurt alot? Im always hurting either from my knees, my wrists, elbows, ankles my back . Ive had tests done when i was younger for bone density , but they say its normal . Im thinking its from CF at least its what my doctor says sometimes i get fluid in my knees as well and they swell up . . What do ya do when your joints hurt? ive tried many things but it takes long to go away. And the pain is really bad.Sometimes i cant sleep cuz of it! Ive tried Tylenol, Absorbine JR, Knee patches , icy hot but it takes at least a day and a half to actually go away ugh!!

I have a lot of back pain, and I dont know what to do about it either. Dont know if its CF related though. I used to lift weights ALOT, and I didnt always use the proper techniques. That could be my problem, but CF might be a contributing factor. Do you get much exercise? The only thing I ever really use is maybe ibuprofen. Other than that, don't know what else to suggest. Maybe a chiropractor.

Well i used to excercise at least 3 times a week for a long while and my knees stopped hurting a bit but i stopped . I think i should start again because now that i think about it it really helped my knees from hurting!

I have a lot of back/leg pain at night...I always take tylenol/motrin and a hot shower. The shower is a little inconvienient at 2AM but it is the only thing that works for me

Do your bones feel heavy, too? That's the way it is with me. My bones hurt and they feel heavy. Myself, I take a bath. It seems to help anyway. You could try putting Epsom salts in the bath as well. I've never done that, but I've heard good things.

There is CF-related arthritis we can get; has your doctor tested you for that? ...Now that I think about it, I'm not entirely sure there is a test for that, but anyway ask your doctor about it. =-)

My knees used to hurt me all the time. I went to an doctor and took x-rays and he said my knees were absolutely normal. I noticed that all of my joints hurt a lot once I started swelling from the CF. My knees hurt so bad i could barely walk up or down a flight of stairs. The only thing that helped me was taking a ton of lasix to get rid of the extra fluid. You might want to suggest that to your doc.
